  • 박장훈 (신약신학, 조교수)
    박장훈 교수는 한국에서 고등학교를 졸업하고 부모를 따라 캐나다로 이주하여 캐나다 밴쿠버 소재 Simon Fraser University에서 철학 전공으로 학부공부(B.A.)를 마쳤고, Regent College에서 신약전공으로 석사과정(M.CS.)을 마무리했다. 이때 Rikki Watts 교수의 지도로 N. T. Wright의 로마서 해석을 비판적으로 평가한 “Was the Messiah's Death Identified with Israel's Vocation and Prepared by Israel's Sin According to Paul?: A Critique of N. T. Wright's Reading of Romans 5-11”라는 석사논문을 썼다. 그 후 영국의 University of St. Andrews에서 성경과 신학(Scripture and Theology) 전공으로 석사(M.Litt.) 과정을 마치며 Scott Hafemann 교수의 지도로 바울의 묵시적 해석을 비판적으로 평가한 “Is Death a Cosmic Power in 1 Cor 15?: A Critique of Martinus C. de Boer's Apocalyptic Reading of 1 Cor 15 and A Suggested Alternative Reading”이라는 석사논문을 썼다. 그리고 같은 대학에서 N. T. Wright 교수의 지도로 바울의 악의 개념을 연구한 “Paul’s Conception of Sin and Death in Rom 5–8 and 1 Cor 15 in Light of Second Temple Judaism”이라는 논문으로 박사학위(Ph.D.)를 받았다. 귀국 후 한국의 여러 학교에서 바울을 비롯한 신약성경 전반과 유대교 관련 과목들을 가르쳤으며, 서울성경신학대학원대학교의 M.Div. 편입과정을 마쳤다. 현재 연구 관심사는 (구약과 유대교에 비추어 본) 성경신학적 바울서신 주해, 성경신학적 바울 신학 통합, 바울과 조직신학과의 대화(특히 죄론, 속죄론, 칭의론, 연합론, 삼위일체론) 그리고 바울의 목회신학이다.
